Amino Acids
Amino Acids doesn't collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There's no account, no analytics, and no advertising in the app. Everything the app remembers — your quiz scores and which amino acids you've reviewed — is stored only on your own device, using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework, and is never sent anywhere. A few flashcards link out to external scientific publications; see below for what that means.
Quiz results (which categories, scores, and dates) and a record of which amino acids you've reviewed. This is stored locally on your device only, for the sole purpose of showing you your own progress in the Progress tab.
Nothing, automatically. The app itself makes no network requests, and does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or any third-party SDK. Some flashcards include a link to the original scientific publication where that amino acid was discovered; tapping one of these opens your device's browser to that external, third-party site, which has its own privacy practices. The app does not track that you tapped it.
Use the reset option in the Progress tab, or delete the app — either removes all locally stored data immediately, since nothing is stored anywhere else.
Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, including children, there is nothing to disclose or protect beyond what's already described above.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that uses the network), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date below will change accordingly.
